Hola / Hi!
I’m Paz Arando, a Lead Product Designer born in Patagonia and based in Berlin.
These days, I lead a design team at Autoscout24. Before, I worked for Mercado Libre and lived the startup life at Trill and GoodPeople.
I have a lot of side projects where I try to combine my skills with meaningful endeavours, like working as a Learning Experience Designer at PINE and mentoring the design team at Donar Online.
THOUGHTS ABOUT DESIGN
In one of Tobias Van Scheneider's newsletters, he wrote: “When I’m certain I’m right about something, I try to prove myself wrong.” I loved it.
Because being a designer is not about having all the answers. It is about co-creation and endless iterations. It’s always fun but also an uncertain journey.
Work
I’ve been working in tech for the last ten years. This took me to different environments: from startups to big corporations, B2C products to internal tools, and from solo designer to leading multidisciplinary teams.
Below, I share some previous projects with their design journeys. As in real life, the design process varies in each context and team, but my approach is grounded in research and a deep understanding of the problem.
